I have a slight obsession with strawberries lately. I simply just can’t get enough and I have been having them on a daily basis.
I have been having strawberries with my yogurt, in my salad, or plain. But what started me to think about making Strawberry Frozen Yogurt one night me and the hubby stopped at McDonald’s and I had to get a Strawberry shake. But then I see those calories next to it on the menu and knew I could not get attached to the strawberry shake.
I haven’t mentioned this on my blog yet but we are expecting a little girl this fall, hence why I have been slacking with posts lately. I didn’t want to cook and I have been going to bed way early. But im finally getting back into the swing of things and we are excited for this new adventure. Who know maybe this is my craving, which I wouldn’t mind at least its healthy!!
Anyways, this is why i’m thinking I have this slight obsession. She wants it…or that’s what I keep telling myself!
This recipe was so quick to put together! The flavors of strawberry are bursting with flavor!! Plus, you only need 4 simple ingredients for your mouth to be exploding with flavor.
Rinse strawberries. Cut of the tops and cut them into fours
Place them in a bowl and add sugar and lime juice. Give them a nice stir and let them sit on your counter for hour.
Place strawberries and juices into your food processor or blender. I was being lazy and choose blender. Lightly pulsate, add yogurt
Place Strawberry Frozen Yogurt into a freezer and let set for 2-3 hours.
